Our Salute to Thelma Boac, (HDI-USA Country Representative and Director) for her unfailing support to HDI and extra ordinary accomplishments. Aside from being an outstanding educator she is the only Filipina holding a “School Principal Post” in Northern California. Further is a multi awarded educator and community leader. In 2007, she was named as one among the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the US at a special ceremony in Washington DC. In a communiqué, she and her husband conveyed their message as a quote, “Danny and I are always proud of the movers and shakers of this wonderful organization who are making a difference in making sure our Mother Earth is preserved for generations to come”.
